Hey, Jambo, Satsriakaal, we’re Vinny & Co. Drawing, painting, travelling, meeting people form all walks and places of life, tasting new foods and adventure, are some of the things we love the most. I (Vinny) plan the trips, write & illustrate your monthly travelling Light Letters, whilst the Co. takes care of the rest; including the website, orders, mailing & customer support. I’m always itching to head off to new parts of the world that I haven’t explored yet, whilst simultaneously working out the most affordable and sustainable way to get there.

Letters Travel Light was born from an epic month long adventure project in Tanzania and Zanzibar, many moons ago. I kept an illustrated diary, vivid notes & scrapbooked memorabilia of the trip, to remember my wonderful journey with all its encounters. When I returned to London, I wondered how I could share my love of art and my journey with others, so they too could experience some of what I did. A postcard doesn’t have enough space and an online Travel blog, can get too wordy, without having the custom rich visuals I had in mind. So, Letters Travel Light was created as the perfect blend!

The aim was and continues to be, to reflect authentic experiences, voices and stories (with a genuine love of people, animals, natural wonders, cultures & customs,) through hand drawn art, that represents the diversity of the planet, and share these with you, our readers. The hope remains, that you’ll be inspired in some way, to either explore further, try something new, or go on your own adventure. We’ll always learn something, if we keep our hearts and minds open.

We absolutely adore what we do and are ever so grateful to all of you for enabling us to fulfil a dream! Your support means the world to us and to the others we are able to support in turn.
